Water retention and weight gain

If you take creatine to support your training, a slight weight gain may occur due to increased muscle mass and higher water retention in the muscles. An increase in lean body mass of up to 1-3 kg has been observed. Most strength athletes welcome this and do not consider it a disadvantage.
