„Stop snowboarding less!“

I always love learning new snowboarding tricks and improving my style, I never stop enjoying it! I want to continue competing professionally for as long as possible. I get my motivation from all the fun we have on the mountain and halfpipe. It’s amazing to see how we just keep getting better and better!

Creapure® helps me maximize my summer training sessions and concentrate on snowboarding. When it comes to creatine, it is important to know exactly what I am taking so I don’t have to worry about accidentally taking some banned substance. With its “MADE IN GERMANY” quality guarantee, Creapure® gives me peace of mind. Manufactured under strict control, I know that I am taking pure creatine monohydrate – and nothing else!

Introduce yourself briefly.

Introduce yourself briefly.
Hey, my name is André Höflich. I´m 23 years old and I grew up and still live in beautiful Bavaria in Germany. I love my family, my friends and of course… Snowboarding! That´s pretty much the third most important things in my life and I hope it stays like that for a long time!

When was your first contact with sport in general?

When was your first contact with sport in general?
I´ve always been very active. As a kid, I was never just sitting around and doing nothing. I had to be outside to play, jump, and just run around. As long as I can think back, I’ve always been active and done sports.

How did it progress?

How did it progress?
When I grew up, I quickly learned that I also have so much time and can’t do everything. I choose the activities that were the most fun for me and specialized more and more in my teenage years. This included Pacours Running, Trampoline, Go-Kart Racing, Skateboarding and, of course, Snowboarding.

What are you specialized in now and why?

What are you specialized in now and why?
At the age of 15, I had to choose again between my beloved sports activities. In one particular sport, I was apparently very good for a kid my age. It wasn’t a very hard decision, because I´ve always loved to snowboard. For me it is super fun and beautiful at the same time. There is never a dull moment and every single day I am grateful for being able to do what I love as a profession.

What are your goals for the future?

What are your goals for the future?
In the future, I want to look back and be able to say: „I have lived the best life. I was constantly chasing the good times, the fun and the love. That´s what has always made me happy and that´s why I´m happy now. ….And the XGAMES and Olympics, I want to be on top of course.

Describe the feelings of a good day out.

Describe the feelings of a good day out.
I´m at the mountain with my friends. It´s empty, nobody else is there. Lifts are running. Fresh powder snow,-7 degrees Celsius, sun, no wind. You see nothing but white snow, trees, bumps you can jump and a few cliffs. No tracks. You drop in with the whole crew. Boom - Face shot from the powder, you hear the sound of your board gliding through the snow - ssssshhhhhhhh - one friend jumps right in front of you, screams of out in joy. You see a cliff, jump it. High fives for everybody at the bottom. You go back up and repeat this 25 times this day. Dinner and sauna in the evening to relax – that pretty much describes the perfect day.

Describe the feelings of being “in the zone”

Describe the feelings of being “in the zone”
Ouff, I just fell right into it just by thinking about it! You´re getting ready for your run, your competition, for your new trick or that one heavy squats set you haven´t done before. The music is streaming through your ears. There´s nothing around you, it is just you with yourself and your dreams. That’s it, that’s the moment. You feel like you´re Indestructible, but you also feel a little fear. It’s kind of a feeling of Pins´n´Needles in your stomach, your ears get hot and your arms and legs feel smooth and relaxed. The only thing you think about is what´s coming up in the next seconds. What YOU are going to do in the next seconds. 3, 2, 1, breathe….. GO!!

Being outside, what is you connection to nature?

Being outside, what is you connection to nature?
Whenever I´m outside, I feel like I´m well balanced. All the things running through my head suddenly relax and calm down for a minute. Once I´m on top of a nice summit looking around, problems don´t seem to be as big as the mountain I just climbed, or the trees I was walking by, or the horizon I can see from up here. I´m taking a break. Nature´s giving me the feeling of security. Out here I´m safe. Some people might be scared by nature, but when you start treating nature, as you want to be treated yourself, you start appreciating and nature will help you solve your problems by relaxation and grounding your thoughts into something bigger than anything else.

Tell us a little bit about your work/daily life

Tell us a little bit about your work/daily life
Depends on winter or summer season. Anyway, in both I usually get to snowboard a lot. Whenever I´m snowboarding, I do two sessions per day. One early bird with the first gondola when there is less people on the mountain. After that, I have a little lunch break and get back on the board when I´m rested. After I get back home, I might do a workout if I feel like I need some more action for the day. When I´m not snowboarding, I do a lot of training, specifically for snowboarding. Including Trampolining, Skateboarding,Endurance Sports and Weightlifting. Everything I can do to become a stronger, better, faster Snowboarder.

How did you get there?

How did you get there?
When I was 15, I decided that Snowboarding will be my profession one day. Thanks to my parents, I went to a Sports Boarding school where I could combine school, snowboarding and other training sessions. That way I was able to find a good balance between focusing on snowboarding and training while still leaving room for school and my academic goals.

How did you get in contact with Creapure®?

How did you get in contact with Creapure®?
Our Creapure® Athlete Manager used to be with the snowboard brand I´m riding for. We´ve known each other for many years now, so that makes it so comfortable for me to work with Creapure®.

How do you use it? In general and in detail?

How do you use it? In general and in detail?
Primarily, I use it for my strength training and weightlifting. In off-snow periods I usually take about 3-5g on a spoon and mix it with my breakfast juice or I just pour it in my water bottle and have it during the first training session of the day.

Why do you use it?

Why do you use it?
I use it because I feel better prepared for the upcoming winter season. Thanks to Creapure®, I can train harder and longer and I recover faster during the training sessions. That also means I can train more giving me an advantage.

What’s so special about Creapure®?

What’s so special about Creapure®?
The special thing about Creapure® is that I know exactly know what is in the product. In fact, Creapure® Creatine-Monohydrate is the ONLY option for me, because it´s the only Creatine that is produced in the western world and that I trust. The manufacturing process includes several mandatory tests to make sure it´s clean from all the stuff you don´t want to have in your creatine.

What are the main benefits for you?

What are the main benefits for you?
Strength, Focus, Recovery. As simple as that!

What do you think about Creapure® from your athletes POV?

What do you think about Creapure® from your athletes POV?
I think many athletes could take advantage of Creapure®. It doesn´t change you but it enables you to work harder to achieve your goals and your dreams. It is also important for athletes to know that when using Creapure(R), you don’t have to worry about a positive doping test.
